Visit Peak District Experience of the Year - Gold Award

We're over the moon to announce that we won the Gold Award for the Experience of the Year 2020 in the Visit Peak District Experience of the Year awards this week!

"I never knew you could win awards for going climbing with friends and having a good time... apparently you can... I think we drew the long straw"

Pure Outdoor has never been about winning awards and competitions - it has been about doing our absolute best to deliver the best quality outdoor training and to share our passion with our customers. I guess by focussing 100% on the needs of our customers and not getting bogged down with other market demands, our core values stay true and and people are having a great time coming to visit us, learn essential skills and come back time and time again.

So it's great that this has been acknowledged, it's a nod to all the hard work of all of our staff that have contributed over the years, all of those days where everyone has gone above and beyond and gone that extra mile, which separates us from some of our competition.

It's also a nod to the amazing things we have on offer in the Peak District and how amazing the Peak District is as a destination. It's great to get our most favourite sports, Climbing, Caving, Biking and Hillwalking into the spotlight and showcased as the best experience in the Peak District in 2020.

We're looking forward to greeting all of our customers, guests and friends this coming year... On belay!
